AT&C Loss FY23

AT&C losses have reduced to 15.38% in FY23; ~6% lower than 21.2% in FY21 and ~1% lower than 16.3% in FY22.

Between FY21 and FY22, AT&C improvement was driven by increase in both Billing Efficiency (by 1.3%) and Collection Efficiency (by 4.4%). The jump in collection efficiency was driven by better tariff subsidy disbursal by states and improved customer collection. In FY23, the AT&C losses further improved to 15.38%, driven by increase in Billing Efficiency to 87.0%, whereas Collection Efficiency remained high at 97.3%.
